Portfolio

Exceptional Landscapes have produced many quality landscape constructions over the years of operation.

Below are just a few examples of the variety of work we have completed.  We have plenty more examples of work, so if you'd like to see any further projects, please contact us and we'd be happy to show them to you.

Waterfall Dr Jerrabomberra - 2010 WINNER - MBA Awards - Residential Landscaping
This complex project in Jerrabomberra was constructed over a 5 month time frame. The swimming Pool was constructed by Mediterainian Pools and Spas, and throughout the entire process, the Landscape Contractor, Swimming Pool Contractor and the Client works together to achieve this stunning outdoor area.

The site was extremely difficult, compounded by an easement running through the center of the rear garden. Extensive use of retaining walls, timber steps and landings, provide a series of level areas that turn an otherwise unusable area, into this moden pool scape. Granite pavers and pool surround, stainless steel balustrading and frameless glass pool fencing are features of this garden, while extensive planting and a modest but proportional lawn area complete the picture.

Extensive lighting has also been utilized, ensuring the landscape looks just as stunning at night as it does through the day. This landscapes showcases what can be done on a difficult site, with imagination, technical ability and a customer focused can do attitude.

Tenyson Crs Forrest

This project the heart of Canberra was designed by Melissa Kemp of TT Architecture and constructed in 2008.

An extension and Gazebo were constructed by Prostyle Building Group, while the water features and sandstone capped planter boxes were constructed by Exceptional Landscapes. The sandstone for the water features were pre cut to form the geometrical shapes and fixed to the walls using copper coloured dome bolts. The result is an elegant yet modern water feature that compliments this stunning residence.

The Front garden was constructed in 2009 and features sandstone paving, decorative urns, and extensive use of lawn areas and garden beds.

Walter Cl Jerrabomberra

This project in the suburb of Jerrabomberra was designed by Jeff Hargreaves. The front garden features rendered and painted brickwork, stackstone feature column & letterbox insert.

Large white binks pavers are used for the paving and steps and contrast well with the rendered and painted walls, a bluestone aggregate driveway leads to the house, while the rendered and painted letterbox adds a statement to the house. Extensive feature planting and gravel area complete the front of this fine residence.

The second lot of photos show the planting gowth over 2 years from the initial construction to a mature garden.

The rear has extensive yellowstone retaining walls and stone and paved steps, to level off the area in order to provide a large area to accommodate a young family. White pavers lead to an outdoor “Alfresco Dinning Area” incorporating stainless steel BBQ and range hood, constructed from hardwood decking with feature lighting in the plastered ceiling.

This is truly a magnificent landscape that compliments this modern home.
